Polypropylene flat tapes are woven into a fabric core, then BOPP film is laminated to the printed face. The film takes the ink and supplies the gloss and moisture barrier; the weave supplies tensile strength and puncture resistance. Side gussets let the bag expand to a rectangular pack, and the bottom is folded and sealed so the pack sits flat on a shelf. A PE liner can be added where the rice needs a longer barrier against humidity.
